Looooonnng drive out to Pasadena today, but before that, a stop at CPL (where they're hosting their fundraiser for a new branch, yay!) and C picked up this cd solely onaccount of it's colorful cover.
The songs were droning in the background as we puttered along the 210, but track 6 was my, waitaminute moment. Rewound, turned up the volume and focused.
It's a song about phone calls, a 360 to David Wilcox's Please Don't Call...
But now it's on loop on the pod. Campy (Hawksley came to mind just now) and a complete contrast to the more subdued Griffin House (Homecoming, yum).
